For this week’s audio described theatre review Vidar was off to a magical land with the return of Sir Peter Wright’s classic production of the timeless ballet, The Nutcracker by Birmingham Royal Ballet at the Birmingham Hippodrome theatre on Saturday 26 November at 2.30pm and touch tour at 12.15 with description by professional Audio Describer
At midnight on Christmas Eve, Clara creeps downstairs and is instantly swept away into an enchanting winter wonderland of dancing snowflakes, magical Christmas trees and a Sugar Plum Fairy.
60 dancers and the Royal Ballet Sinfonia returned to the Birmingham Hippodrome stage for this festive family treat.
