This current affairs podcast tries to unpick all things British politics over the last couple of weeks. With an analysis of parliamentary affairs, major political events, media headlines and viral moments - we aim to make sense of this tumultuous time in politics.

In this episode, we talk about the Autumn Statement. After running through the key announcements and economic initiatives in Jeremy Hunt’s speech to the Commons yesterday. With tax rises and spending cuts, we consider how the announcement has been received by supporters and critics of the government and also look at Labour’s response to the Statement. We also (tentatively) predict what this means for Sunak’s government and whether this can assuage calls for a general election.
