On His Way Rejoicing

Road trips often begin with great excitement, but grow monotonous a few miles into the journey. Imagine a 1000+ mile trip, not by car through beautiful scenery, but rather by chariot through the desert. Such was the case for a man who had traveled to Jerusalem to worship and was now returning home. As he traveled, he read from the book of Isaiah and grew confused by the reading. Through God's servant Philip, this confusion was corrected, resulting in salvation and joy. Like this desert traveler, everyone can come to know the joy of salvation.
