Oscar Rewind: Zero Dark Thirty

Have you asked "How soon is too soon?" about a piece of media released not too long after a historic/public event? We asked that back in 2012, and again here in 2022 about Zero Dark Thirty. Yes we now know that this movie was already being made when the events of May 1, 2011 occurred, but that doesn't change our question. While war movies aren't generally our thing, we did appreciate the Kyle Chandler double feature this season. This movie also changed the trajectory of Jessica Chastain's career, so we can't be too mad.
