Odds On, an Online Accessible Interactive Film About the Harms of Online Gambling

Odds On is an online accessible interactive film experience that shines a light on the harms of online gambling by theatre company, Dante or Die which has been made accessible for blind and partially sighted people with description by Audio Describer Louise Fryer.
RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with Daphna Attias one of the Artistic Directors of Dante or Die who is also one of the Co-Directors of Odds On to find out more about the film and their work with Audio Describer Louise Fryer, to make the film and the interactive online immersive experience accessible for blind and partially sighted people.
Daphna began by telling Toby a bit about the background to theatre company Dante or Die, the process involved in making a theatre or film project such as Odds On and the work that went into the interactive accessible online version too.
Daphna then talked about why access is so important to Dante or Die and how they have worked with Louise over a number of years to make their productions accessible to blind and partially sighted people through audio description.
