Join us this week on Crime Salad where we discuss the senseless murder of Amber Guichelaar at the hands of her husband, a supposed Godly Man she had prayed for since childhood. On the outside everyone thought they were a happy couple, but in reality Richard was controlling and abusive. Amber began contemplating leaving Richard while hiding the truth of the abuse she endured from friends and family. But she couldn’t hide it from herself and began documenting her secret hell in the pages of a secret diary. In one entry she asked the prophetic questions, “Am I safe sleeping next to him?” That answer turned out to be a resounding NO.
