The call to follow Jesus is a way of suffering. It calls us to give up everything and align our lives with Christ. We’re called to follow the example of the early Christians in deep devotion to Jesus and with deep conviction that Jesus died for us, to make us right with God, to sacrifice His life to free us from the captivity of sin and bring us into the way of Christ.
