Season 1, Episode 1418, Oct 13, 2022, 08:00 AM
As it is World Sight Day 2022 today, Thursday 13 October 2022, here at RNIB Connect Radio we thought it would be a good time to catch up with the World Agency for the Prevention of Blindness to find out what they are focusing on for World Sight Day 2022.
RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with Simon Darvill, Head of Communications and Campaigns at the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness to firstly give a bit of background to the IAPB then some history about World Sight Day before talking about the theme, activities and campaigns for World Sight Day 2022.
For World Sight Day 2022 the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) would like everyone around the world to share how important it is to #LoveYourEyes by pledging to help reach their five million sight test goal by WSD 2022 (Thu 13.10.22) and to also remind everyone to take care of their eyes too.
