Today, in association with Hope Street, I speak to local Borough Councillor Adrian Owens, of Derby Ward in West Lancashire. This ward covers eastern Ormskirk and rural areas beyond. Adrian and I discuss the political situation on the council, what councillor’s jobs are, and how people can be more involved in their local councils. We also look why Adrian is an independent.
