In this episode, Adam Brimelow sits down with NHS Providers interim chief executive Saffron Cordery to discuss the importance of World Mental Health Day, and her particular concerns for the mental health of children and young people as we move on from the pandemic. Saffron also highlights the importance of addressing inequalities of mental health need and access to care in the NHS.
Adam is also joined by Sarah Kline, chief executive of United for Global Mental Health, who emphasises the continuing need to tackle stigma and discrimination, and to educate people about mental health.
