Let’s LSE about that #6: Drugs & Alcohol

Episode 108,   Oct 06, 2022, 04:00 PM

Welcome to the sixth episode of ‘Let’s LSE about that’!

Struggling with a problem that no-one has prepared you for? Facing something you’re expected to understand but have no idea? Generally feel you’ve been thrown in at the deep end and need a lifeline? You’re in the right place!

On this podcast we discuss common student issues and see if we can LSE about that! Every episode I interview a handful of students and talk to them about a specific student issue, discussing what they know and what they want to know.

From this we try to find the answers, using the input of an expert (or experts), hoping to get to the bottom of the issues no-one talks about enough!

Coming across drugs and alcohol at university is not uncommon, so it’s important we talk about it!

In this episode of Let’s LSE about that, I talk to two international students about their experience with drinking in LSE and the UK more widely and how this compares to their home countries.

I also speak to Lisa Rigby from CREW 2000 about issues surrounding recreational drug use, substance abuse and spiking and where help is available if you need it.
