Dan Dare. Two words spoken fondly by the generation weaned on radio drama. This science fiction hero appeared in the Eagle comic from 1950. The stories were set far away into the future. Ah yes, the late 1990s.
On radio, 'The New Adventures of Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future' was broadcast for a period of five years, five times each week, on Radio Luxembourg.
