Economist weighs in on the increase in communication tariffs

In our daily life, communication using latest technology has helped build relationships, businesses, and saved lives in some instances. However, these benefits may eventually not be enjoyed by everyone due to an increase tariff rates by telecommunication companies. According to a statement issued by National Communications Authority NCA last week, the exercise is set to be implemented in three phases over the next three months.
