Pod Pick: Tom Johnston And Michael McDonald Of The Doobie Brothers

Both Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald were on to talk about the Doobie Brothers' 50th anniversary. The whole band is performing on September 11 at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport. Tom talks about his hiatus from the band in the '70s and the events that lead to Michael joining. Plus, a great story from Michael about writing the beginnings of a hit song on an envelope, and then finding that envelope years later in a strange place.
