In 2019, Matt Glaetzer received a shock thyroid cancer diagnosis.
Two years later, he was representing Australia at the Tokyo Olympics, and recently returned from the Commonwealth Games with two gold medals, equalling Anna Meares record as the most successful Australian cyclist in Commonwealth Games history.
