The Round Table: Legislative Priorities after the political stalemate in the Parliament

Since May 2022, the SPLM-IO has stayed away from all parliamentary sittings of the Reconstituted Transitional National Legislative Assembly following misunderstanding on the passing of the Political Parties Act, 2022. On 11th August, the principals to the peace agreement met and resolved to send back to the Assembly all the Bills passed during the SPLM – IO boycott. This morning, the Round Table discussion program looked at the Legislative Priorities in the Parliament.
