Descriptive Video Works Descriptive Video for TV
Season 1, Episode 1346, Aug 22, 2022, 10:55 AM
Audio Description is a narration of what's physically going on during, say, a movie or tv programme so that a blind person can understand what's happening on screen.
The narration is delivered between the actors dialogue via a smart device, tv or over headphones in a cinema.
With audio described content growing around the globe, is there now scope to include this within live sporting events?
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Rhys Lloyd, from Descriptive Video Works, to get their opinion and hopes for the future.
