When Katie Palmer is on a walk with her husband on the morning of April 21st 2020, she is struck by a truck and tragically killed. Her family is left in shambles. Katie was a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a teacher, and a role model to many in the tight knit community of Dennison, Texas. In this episode, John Palmer joins me to help tell his wife's story. John was also hit by the truck that morning and has a first hand account of what happened to his wife. This case goes deep into injustice and how personal connections mixed with ego's often get in the way of good police work.
