The morning after

Composition by Helder Rock.
"“The Morning After” is a composition all inspired by the sound I was allocated: Coffee Grinder - Krups Type 207; therefore, as I only drink coffee in the morning, I had the idea of representing through an atmospheric music, using synthesizers, someone dreaming and then being awaken by a blackbird singing in the morning and then go and prepare a coffee.
"The original recording was added in a mix where I used a recording I made of a blackbird that everyday sings near my balcony, and then some sound effects of a boiling kettle and the final preparation of a morning brew."
This is part of the Obsolete Sounds project, the world’s biggest collection of disappearing sounds and sounds that have become extinct – remixed and reimagined to create a brand new form of listening. Explore the whole project at https://citiesandmemory.com/obsolete-sounds
