"The original recording had two distinct characteristics - a clinking type sound that was more rhythmic, and a droning type quality with the actual grinder turned on.
"The rhythm at the beginning was fed into various samplers and converted to midi to trigger a couple of piano-like instruments that informed the beginning, while the drone like quality informed the rest."
