Oscar Rewind: Django Unchained
Season 5, Episode 169, Aug 29, 2022, 01:00 PM
This isn’t the first time we’ve talked about Quentin Tarantino on this podcast and unfortunately it won’t be the last. Django reunites Christoph Waltz with Tarantino and with the Supporting Actor win. One thing we can’t deny about this film is that this cast is stacked. Everyone is giving a great performance, except for Tarantino himself at the end. The accent he chose still haunts us to this day. Visually we enjoyed this movie, but we’re not fans of listening to derogatory speech or seeing hate crimes being committed on the black community, historically accurate or not.
