Why Do Older People Have to Get Up During the Night to Go to the Bathroom?
Season 1, Episode 1288, Aug 05, 2022, 08:00 AM
This week for our regular check-in with Pharmacist Elizabeth Roddick from New Life Pharmacy in Glasgow we are talking about something we may have all experienced if we have been staying with an elderly relative, staying with our parents or maybe even experiencing ourselves when we get a bit older, which is why do older people have to get up during the night to visit the bathroom, is it just an age thing?
Elizabeth began by explaining to Toby about why this is mainly an issue for older people, what the particular causes might be and what can we do about the issue to help reduce having to go to the bathroom during the night.
Elizabeth ended this week’s check in with some advice around the recent reports of the number of cases of Monkey Pox.
