Kim Revelle bags £1000 on our cash giveaway

A kmfm listener has started the school summer holidays with £1,000.

Their competition '£1,000 Friday' invites listeners to enter via text or online to win the cash jackpot. Entries are open from Thursday 6pm for 24 hours.

The very popular competition usually runs on the last day of the month, but on this occasion was a week earlier to mark the start of the 6-week holidays, with the idea that families can use the money to create summer memories.

After thousands of entries, it was Kim Revelle from Ashford who was chosen at random. She received a surprise call while at work at the Fish Inn pub from presenter Rob Wills.

Kim was listening to Kent's Radio Station at home before leaving for work when she decided to enter. She told her granddaughter Ryah (10) that she had entered and for her to send her good vibes in the hope that she would win , and then they could do things together during the summer holidays.
