Today's topic was suggested by listener Nick Jewlachow, who thought finding out what the first release on UK label Mute Records would be a good idea.
And he was right! Dig into the story of a label started with a synthesizer, a four track tape recorder and some earnings from film editing. Throw in a little help from Rough Trade Distribution and a classic label was born.
