The implementation of the Peace agreement in South Sudan requires enactment of some legislation to facilitate the process. 

Since its reconstitution, the Transition National Legislative Assembly has enacted some laws but many more are still on the floor of house pending parliamentary action. Currently, the house is faced with a stalemate where some members are boycotting sessions, following political disagreements.
