“Abandonment issues don’t have to mean someone walked out on you on purpose. They can literally stem from anything. Maybe someone died and now there’s a hole in you that no one else can fill. No one else is going to take up that space in the right way.”

Welcome to the third and last episode of our  "Fathering Yourself" mini-series. We've covered what it means to be a father, our paternal backgrounds, fathering the self,  and now it's time to talk about the Fother Wound. What is a father wound? How do you know when you have one? And if you have one, what aspect of your relationship with your father created it in the first place?

You don't have to have a "bad" or non-existent relationship with your father to have a Father Wound. Sometimes they are caused indirectly. It may shock you to find out that you have one that is begging for your attention and healing after listening to this episode.
