Bethaney Turner - Snails & Slugs in our Gardens

Gardeners of the Upper Hunter, before you squash or poison the next slug or snail you see in your garden, consider this: The British Royal Horticultural Society no longer classifies these gastropods as pests. 

Why on earth would a leading gardening organisation do that, you might wonder? Bethaney Turner is an Associate Professor, Centre for Creative and Cultural Research, Faculty of Arts and Design, University of Canberra and she joined us to talk about it this morning.
