AMONG the headlines for Tuesday, May 11, 2022, Malaysia’s new Covid-19 infections continue an uptrend post Raya celebrations, as cases surge to 2,246 in the last 24 hours.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said only one death was recorded yesterday with no brought-in-deaths.
Meanwhile, the country has reported a total of 2,433 recoveries from the virus in the latest log.
Also, Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Tuesday extended the national curfew until the morning of 11 May amid ongoing protests, triggered by economic and political crises.
