Our Merciful High Priest

Sin is a problem of our own making but a problem only God can correct. From Genesis 3 forward, God lays out an elaborate plan to welcome us back into His grace. For the people of Israel, part of the return from sin involved elaborate sacrifices overseen by the high priest on the Day of Atonement. These Old Testament shadows provide a glimpse of the reality now known through Jesus Christ. This sermon explores these connections and ultimately demonstrates that He is the hope of the ages and the way we return to fellowship with God.
