COTA SA's Rainbow Hub Comes to Victor Harbor
Episode 1546, Apr 08, 2022, 05:00 AM
There are around 70,000 people in SA who are part of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex (LGBTI) community.
COTA SA's Rainbow Hub offers activities for members of the LGBTI community in Adelaide and the regions.
Jackie Wurm, Project Officer with COTA SA, joins Jennie Lenman to talk about Rainbow Hub and a couple of events at the Anchorage Seafront Hotel on Wednesday April 13, including an informal gathering for LGBTI members of all ages, and a separate focus group on intergenerational end-of-life care for people who are 50 years or older.
The informal gathering for LGBTI community members of all ages is at the Anchorage Seafront Hotel on Wednesday, April 13. It really is for those in the community rather than LGBTI-allies and attendees must book ahead and be double-vaccinated. Resister by calling COTA on 08 8232 0422 emailing events@cotasa.org.au.
The other event is for Rainbow Horizons, an upcoming focus group on Wednesday, April 13 to discuss and co-design intergenerational end-of-life care for people over 50 in the LGBTI community. This is a registration of interest, invitation only event (via online survey or calling COTA SA on 08 8232 0422).
