Vicki Lynn Smith is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Reiki Master Teacher, and Advanced Certified Eagala Mental Health Professional and Equine Specialist. Her main modality of therapy is equine assisted psychotherapy and believes that horses and music are two of the most powerful modalities for healing. Many times folks have seen a guitar in her jeep and asked if they could play it during their session…. To see clients light up as they bring music back into their life is priceless! Vicki works with folks who struggle with challenges from anxiety/depression, substance abuse, trauma, victims of sex trafficking, and military veterans, holding space for clients to find their
own solutions through both talk therapy and working through challenges in a space with horses.
Vicki has faced many challenges in life, but believes in using those challenges to learn and grow. Her favorite works is BELIEVE (tattooed on both forearms!). It’s so important to believe in ourselves and to believe in each other!! Live life true to yourself, be your authentic you… don’t
be afraid to make mistakes….it’s how we grow… and what a great inspiration to others to see us grow from our mistakes and not let them define who we are!
When not working with clients, Vicki Lynn is an Indie artist/songwriter who thrives on bringing positivity, hope and happiness through her diverse mix of Pop/Americana/Country/Singer-Songwriter style of music. A song is such a gift to the world! Music gives us a way to express our emotions, the good ones and the uncomfortable ones! Sing! Dance! Live!
