Fevzi Turkalp, the Gadget Detective, joins Bill Buckley on BBC Radio Berkshire to discuss the latest tech news. This week; the ZOE Covid tracking app, developed by Kings College London and ZOE and used by millions of people to track the pandemic, is to lose its UK government funding. Why would the UK Government cut funding to something so important while the pandemic is still a concern?

Gadget of the Week is the Ember New Travel Mug2 This temperature controlled mug differs from normal thermal flasks by maintaining a user specified temperature, avoiding the drink being too hot, via an internal battery and heating element. It will maintain the temperature for around three hours, or all day if sitting on its charging base, and features a non-spill lid and is waterproof and leakproof. Scoring 3 out of 5, listen in for full details.
