Anne-Flore Marxer on the Risky business of gender equality
From the powerful athlete's insight of what risk taking means to the understanding of why women's action sports is still behind compared to our male counterparts, the role events, media, sponsorship play and why she decided to go after the equal prize money on her first big fight towards equality.
Also, Anne-Flore talks about transitions and whilst stepping into a new phase of her life after having produced the wildly successful film about snowboarding and gender equality 'a land shaped by women' and diving into motherhood.
If somebody know what it means to take a risk, that is Anne-Flore Marxer.
Her work in equality advocacy, her protests and her tough to swallow statements meant that many would dislike her but that she had just become one of the most valuable leaders in the fight to pursue gender equality in the action sports and snowboarding in particular.
And let's not forget, she is also the 2011 Freeride World Champion amongst many other impressive athletic achievements.
