Kim Woozy on becoming part and elevating a community
Drive for change can come from many places, and it's not always from a good one. Kim talks to us about her professional journey and her passion for driving change in the female skateboarding community, from creating one, to representing it, promoting it, creating opportunity and elevating it.
Wether you are an entrepreneur, an intern, an athlete or a CEO of a big brand, Kim's insight on how community based models make such a big difference as well as her vision on change, empowerment, creating and taking opportunities and growth is not only inspiring and educating but it is also refreshing and relatable.
Born, raised and based in the Bay Area, California, Kim also sits on the community advisory board for the Center for Sport and Social Justice at Cal State East Bay and the Oakland Roots Soccer Club. She is currently a member of the Gender Equality Commission for World Skate.
