South Sudan to launch new project aimed at building resilience and improving food security

A new project aimed at improving food security and building community resilience is set to be launched in Juba tomorrow. The Resilience through Agriculture in South Sudan - also known as the ‘RASS project,’ targets 13 counties in Western Barh el-Ghazal, Unity, Upper Nile, Jonglei and Eastern Equatoria state.
This morning, Miraya breakfast featured the Deputy Chief of party of the project, Kepa Dima, who said that the four-year program aims to boost food production, improve effectiveness of local systems, and strengthen capacities of community groups to achieve gender-responsive and diversified market production.
