NilePet: We shall take charge of some oil fields by 2027

South Sudan, as one of the oil producing countries the in World, depends heavily on oil revenue to finance government’s operations.
At least 250 thousand to 300 thousand barrels of crude oil are produced daily and delivered to the international markets through Sudan.
The country has contracted some foreign companies to help with exploration and exploitation of the oil resources.
To ensure effective exploration of crude oil in the country and marketing of petroleum products, government in 2003 establish Nile Petroleum corporation.
Speaking to Sebit William Ker Tony this morning, the managing Director of NilePet, Dr. Chol Deng gave an outline of the activities of the institution.
