The Mayor of Juba city council says the suspension of night clubs, discos and overnight prayers aims to restore order and protect the public from the destructive activities of youth gangs and muggers.

Michael Lado Thomas Allah-Jabu says the temporary suspension communicated in an order last week, follows a series of joint security meetings with stakeholders on the need to combat the rising criminology by youth gangs and Torontos.

Allah-Jabu says the suspension will help them track down suspected criminals.
