CFS Volunteer Satchi Talks Paechtown Blaze

Ground crews have remained on scene overnight at Paechtown to monitor and extinguish hotspots throughout the scrub.

The grass fire broke out around 10.30am Sunday and threatened homes and nearby vineyards before crews managed to get the blaze under control in the middle of the afternoon.

Jennie's partner Satchi Riehl (pictured) was one of the volunteers on scene overnight with the Bridgewater CFS. He joins Jennie for a chat about it.
