Feb 03, 2022, 12:01 AM
Sandy Lindsay has seven jobs.
Celebrity events planner and entrepreneur Liz Taylor is joined by Sandy Lindsay MBE. Sandy tells Liz about the most important lessons she's learnt in business and from life - including her dance troupe her family ran, as she was growing up.
Sandy also tells Liz about creating her PR agency, Tangerine, and The Juice Academy, which has created over 500 jobs for young people. On top of all that, Sandy shares how she's balanced a number of executive and non-executive roles for organisations - like the Rugby Football League and Forever Manchester. But if the pandemic has taught Sandy one thing, it's that now it's time to slow down.
Liz Taylor's 30-year career in event planning has built an impressive portfolio of events, including celebrity weddings, charity fundraisers like Children in Need with Gary Barlow and huge gala dinners such as Winter White Gala at Kensington Palace for HRH Duke of Cambridge, as well as the Manchester United Champions League winning party in Moscow and Coronation Street's 40th anniversary celebrations. During lockdown, with the events industry on hold, she turned her attention to launching her own consultancy and realised a lifelong ambition in launching her own podcast.
