Klifavik fjord reimagined by Bill Stevens.
"As I listened to the recording, I began to research the connections between the early visitors and settlers of Iceland by the Scandinavians and the Irish. This mix of cultures brought to mind the folk music of the island that has lasted through generations.
"The sound of the stream and rivers, only interrupted by the sound of footsteps, created a meditative experience that I wanted to bring forward, emphasizing this cultural mix through my interpretation on the folk music of Iceland.
"In this piece I made the decision to leave the recording as is with no changes in the hope that the listener will join me on a journey to the past of this beautiful and mysterious island. "
