The COVID-19 pandemic caused massive disruptions in pharmacy schools, and even once some classes resumed in-person, students had a myriad of barriers and motivators to attend. To learn more about these impacts, we spoke with Cara Rutledge, a student at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, who researched class attendance during the pandemic.
This episode also features Carolina Mussenden, a pharmacy student at the Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy who is simultaneously pursuing her MBA. Mussenden discussed the importance of leadership positions as well as finding balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
