AMONG the headlines for Friday, January 21, 2022, Malaysia’s new COVID-19 cases have increased to 4,046 within the last 24-hours.
Twenty-two more people have died in the country from Covid-19 according to the Health Ministry’s portal updated midnight.
Meanwhile, about 97.9 pct of the adult population have completed their vaccination, with about 43.7 pct completed their booster doses.
Also, Tonga has turned back an aid flight from Australia due to a positive Covid case on board.
Strict border controls are in place, as there are no COVID cases in Tonga.
