"The piece aims to express the sadness over a country completely mismanaged and destroyed. How an idea can be abused, mislead a population and wreck a nation. The horrific stories told by my studio college, who fled Caracas from the regime ten years ago, have inspired this composition. The main material is from the short wave recording from Antena Internacional de Radio Nacional de Venezuela with sparse synthetic and acoustic gestures floating calmly over the enthusiastic radio presenters."
