AMONG the headlines for Friday, January 7, 2021, Malaysia has identified another 3,381 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 2,780,080.
Also, in its weekly situation report on the pandemic today, the WHO said the Southeast Asian regions reported the biggest spikes compared to the previous week, with a 78% jump.
