Sheri Pitman explains how the love of a kitten finally persuaded her to talk.

From the age of two when Sheri Pitman was told off at playgroup she stopped speaking at school. After 10 years of selective mutism a breakthrough came when she fell in love with a kitten her family were looking after who she didn’t want to let go. Sheri and her Mum, Mary, join Sian Williams in the Saturday Live studio to tell their story.
