As home prices go up, what happens to rental rates?

We all know that the costs to buy a home have gone up tremendously the past two years, but what about the costs to rent? It stands to reason that renting has also gotten more expensive in recent years, but not all is as it appears. In this episode, we look at a hot neighborhood in Greer, SC that has had a lot of properties sold and rented the past few years and analyze how the last 6 months of 2021 compared to 2019 in terms of the costs to buy and rent within that neighborhood. Some of the results are surprising!
