Joe and Roberto start out in their last episode of 2021 with Opening Thoughts, and the discussion of COVID and the EPL as the league cancels multiple matches this week (3:40) We then welcome in Jonathan Johnson from CBS Sports to continue our league COVID discussion, as well as get an update on Neymar’s status, and a quick discussion of the Ligue 1 teams as they get set for the Champions League (21:05). We return to reflect on the career of Sergio Aguero as he announces his retirement from football this week (37:00). We will be off for the Christmas holiday, and return on the weekend of January 8th.
