Daily Dose @ 5: Sinovac recipients and senior citizens must get booster dose by Feb, Typhoon Rai approaches Philippines

AMONG the headlines for Thursday, December 16, 2021, senior citizens over the age of 60 and those who have already received two doses of the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccination will need to have received a third booster injection by February 2022, MOH said today.
Those that have not received their booster shots by February 2022, their vaccination status will be changed to incomplete, and they will not be eligible for the facilities accorded to those who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, says Khairy Jamaluddin.
Also, Typhoon Rai is rapidly strengthening east of the southern Philippines and may be on the verge of becoming a super typhoon. The storm is on track to slam the southern and central portions of the country today.
