Daily Dose @ 5: Malaysia reports 4,262 COVID-19 cases, Aung San Suu Kyi sentenced to four years in prison

AMONG the headlines for Monday, December 6, 2021, The Health Ministry recorded another 4,262 Covid-19 cases in the country today.
The number of new cases according to state will be shared by the Health Ministry on its COVIDNOW portal.
Also, the Zabuthiri Court in the capital Naypyidaw on Monday sentenced Myanmar’s ousted leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, to four years in prison after finding her guilty of incitement and violating coronavirus restrictions, a legal official said.
The country’s deposed President Win Myint was also sentenced to four years in prison.
