If by Rudyard Kipling
Season 5, Episode 3, Nov 30, 2021, 08:58 PM
Rudyard Kipling has written several stories that have gone on to become famous. The Jungle Book, Kim and The Man who would be King to name a few. He was also responsible for some notable poems, perhaps his best known and philosophical entitled “If.”
It is a marvellous poem which basically enthuses care and compassion of others and not to take yourself too seriously.
The poem is now in the copyright public domain and has been recorded many times. I thought I would have a go and try do justice to a beautiful piece of writing.
Rudyard Kipling died in 1936 and is buried in Poets Corner at Westminster Abbey, London. A fitting memorial to a remarkable story teller.
